What's New with Will?
6/10/03-
New Single and Album confirmed on the official site! Will's new single 'Leave right now' is out on November 24th and you can hear it first on the official website on Friday. the album is called 'Friday's child' and is due out on the 1st December.

16/9/2003- Last night , Will performed 'Light My Fire' at a rather unusual gig in Italy. The 'Miss Italia Contest', was being held, and Will was amongst many singers to perform.

12/09/2003-Will's new calander is out now!! Availible in good music and card shops now!

10/09/2003-Will is singing at a special concert for Milly Dowler's charity, on the 5th October. The event will take place in the London Palladium. To find out more or buy tickets Click here

3/9/2003-Haven't updated in soooo long! Been on holiday!! So here's what's happening in the wonderful world of Will!

Last night Will was at the GQ Awards getting his award for top newcomer which he won last year, but couldn't collect because he was in America. Here is a picture of the stunner, looking tanned and lovely. Here's a picture: Click here

Will was voted number 9 in a recent top 25 sexiest poll in 'New' magazine.

Will played his first Solo gig in Exeter earlier this year. It was a huge success and lots of fans went to see him perform some of his album tracks, singles, and some new songs from his new album. He also wowed the crowd with versions of 'Supersticious', 'Fields of Gold', and 'Roxanne'. For more information, go to the live section here

Will has a new book coming out called 'On Camera:Off Duty' This new book contains over 130 Polaroid photographs taken by Will in the past 18 months. Will annotates many of the photographs with personal comments about the story behind each image. The book is supplemented by over 25 new studio photographs of Will which will be exclusive to the book. Front cover

There are many rumours circling that the title of Will's new single is 'Leave it right now', and is to be released in November. But so far we have had no comfirmation of this.

11/7/2003-Sorry about the lack of updates. here is whats been happening since I last updated this page:

Will has taken part in Generations,a photography exhibition organised by Help the Aged. The photographs portray well known celebrities with younger or older members of their family, and represent the bond that exists between generations. It opened on the 7th July.

Will has become an AMBASSADOR for Mencap, and has auctioned a painting he did for the charity.

22/5/2003-Will has won ANOTHER award! he scooped the Ivor Novello award for the best selling british single with 'anyhing is possible'

19/5/2003- Will ran the Capital fm bupa feetbeat on Sunday! Over 5200 people ran and Will managed to come 22nd with the fantastic finishing time of 39 mins 20 secs! He has raised over £ 5000 for help a london child, well done Will!!



17/4/2003- The Capital awards were held yesterday and Will scooped the award for best newcomer, AND, the pop idol tour won an award for best tour.

Will's tour video/DVD was out on Monday! It features bonus footage and a photo Gallery.




Will Young is set to perform a one-off gig at the Exeter festival to raise money for charity.
Will says he's looking forward to returning to Exeter to relive his "mad" University days.
Tickets for the Exeter Festival, priced at £ 25, and go on sale on May 13.


Will was up for 3 brits this year and he managed to win Best british Breakthrough. The awards were voted by the public so well done everyone who voted! In the acceptance speech he gave, he praised Ms Dynamite (also up for this category) and dedicated the award to two ill friends. Although Gareth came away with nothing, they were both very pleased to be up for anything. Well done Will!!


Will was also on a well earned break in January and is currently working on his second album

Will has also recorded the soundtrack for 101 dalmations 2, where he sings the jazzy "try again".
